Al Agami.

Musician, writer and software student in Denmark. Editor of XORCIS.AI.

I have spent more than thirty years making records, writing and standing on stages. Now I am learning to build software. Both kinds of work make me ask what a record can prove.

My name is Al Agami. I am writing TRACES, a book about how traces are created, transformed and used to justify power. XORCIS.AI grew from that work. It gives me a place to follow a claim back through the document, image, credit or institution that produced it.

I select the cases and take editorial responsibility for the published wording. AI assists with research and drafting. The articles name their sources, distinguish a record from an interpretation, and state where the evidence runs out. The Method sets out the procedure; the Sources register and Corrections page keep the trail open to readers.

Some cases concern my own work or statements. In those articles, my account is identified as a first-person source. A release credit or a document can establish one thing; my memory of its meaning in my life is a different kind of evidence.
